Carolina discovered her calling as a yoga teacher the moment she saw how the practice could help someone reconnect with their body and reclaim a sense of ease and empowerment. Witnessing a student transition from chronic discomfort to newfound freedom through consistent practice confirmed her passion for guiding others toward strength, softness, and healing.

Born in Brazil and raised in Ecuador by European parents, Carolina carries a rich blend of cultures, languages, and perspectives. She arrived in California in 2001, where she was introduced to yoga and soon began her path as a teacher. She completed her Teacher Training at Avalon Yoga in Palo Alto in 2007, followed by certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Baby & Me Yoga, Kids Yoga, and Advanced Integrated Energy Therapy.

Carolina’s teaching style blends mindful intensity with adaptability, always meeting students where they are. She has taught yoga for over 14 years and has organized family-friendly retreats since 2017—first in Mexico and now in the Galápagos. She describes herself as a warrior at heart, dedicated to inspiring others to stay committed and never give up.
